Vanilla Twilight || Gokudera Hayato
A songfic for Gokudera Hayato The stars lean down to kiss you And I lie awake and miss you Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere Hayato Gokudera. The man who proclaims himself as Juudaime’s right-hand man. Hayato Gokudera. The Arashi no Shugo sha of the Tenth Vongola Generation. Hayato Gokudera. The Smokin’ Bomb. Hayato Gokudera. The proclaimed “Octopus Head”. Hayato Gokudera. The man who can’t sleep because his chest was aching. She left, two days ago, and he seems to not forget every single moment of their time in Japan. She made her mark, all right. And because of her sudden disappearance, with not goodbyes or “See you again~!” or any sort of teasing she usually retorts, he felt like his day was suddenly empty. 'Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly But I'll miss your arms around me I'd send a postcard to you, dear 'Cause I wish you were here Sora Midori. The Seventh Fiammata Boss. Sora Midori. The prized student of Colonello. Sora Midori. The Golden Lioness. Sora Midori. The woman who had guts to do anything, but had never any courage to say goodbye to Gokudera. She didn’t want him to know. She left, two days ago, and in doing so, she missed those times that she would tackle Gokudera, she would tease him endlessly, and the times she would hang around his presence with no reason at all. She left him a letter, gave him the strip of pictures they took in a photo booth, and returned to him the ring she stole, before she left. She didn’t deliver it herself; she made sure Tsuna had to give it to Gokudera. She didn’t want Gokudera to see her cry. I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you Because it takes two to whisper quietly Hayato was plunged into a normal life, no more bothering from a woman who kept calling him “Grandpa”, no more blonde woman who pulled him to dangerous places because she thinks it’s “fun”, and no more woman who laughed maniacally at his pain. How he missed her everyday insults, her sight, her smile, her eyes. If only he could’ve appreciated the time he spent with her, because from the start, she told them that in a month’s time, she will be going back to Italy for a short while. He forgot every detail of that. Now, he regretted shouting at the girl that she’s too troublesome. He regretted passing up a day with her in the amusement park. He didn’t know that he was invited to the amusement park the day before her departure. Now, no other signs told him that “A dangerous person in a skirt will come after you”. All he has is the pictures, her letter, and his stolen ring. He can’t even imagine why she didn’t want him to know, nor did she said goodbye personally. She just said everything in her letter. Even her feelings. The silence isn't so bad 'Till I look at my hands and feel sad 'Cause the spaces between my fingers Are right where yours fit perfectly Sora stared at the fireplace in the Midori mansion. She has been very sullen ever since she got back. Two days was still painful. She kept on looking at her hands, the very same hands that pulled or pushed Gokudera to any place she wished to go. Tears trickled down her cheeks, and fell on the palms of her hands, and she noticed the mark of the ring she stole from Gokudera. It was too big, and caused her several small bruises. But she didn’t mind the bruises, until now. She cried at the thought of missing him badly, because she left things hanging. She told Tsuna, on the day of her departure, to come to the airport with Yamamoto, and Gokudera shouldn’t come. She just told the Juudaime of Vongola to give her letter to Gokudera, because if she gave it to him personally, she would back out from leaving. Gokudera was too close to her heart, even if she keeps on telling herself that all Gokudera feels for her was a friendly-type, and his attention was to Tsunayoshi. Her tears tried to wash away every feeling, guilt, sadness, loneliness and love she felt. Maybe she should forget Gokudera for her to function again as the Seventh Boss. I'll find repose in new ways Though I haven't slept in two days 'Cause cold nostalgia Chills me to the bone Hayato couldn’t sleep for the two days that Sora was gone. He was exhausted in the morning. With advice from Tsuna that Sora would probably be worried about his health, he tried to get some sleep. Everytime he closed his eyes, an image of Sora, smiling at him, flashed in his mind. He couldn’t sleep, now, he was starting to see things when he close his eyes. Not long now, he guessed that he would see hallucinations of Sora Midori. That damn woman who made him insomniatic. But drenched in vanilla twilight I'll sit on the front porch all night Waist-deep in thought because When I think of you I don't feel so alone Sora wanted so bad to go back to Namimori, but her obligations made her rooted to Italy. Nari was the only one who knew of her condition. She ate less, she slept less, and focused on her paperwork all day. She soon lived on coffee cups and small crackers. Her room, once dancing with lights, was a dark chamber lit only by a desk lamp she used to see her paperwork. She was becoming workaholic, but she only did that to make her forget. Colonello tried to stop her from exhausting and starving herself, but her pen kept on skating on her paper, her eyes fixed on the words she read, her ears not registering any word her master told her. I don't feel so alone, I don't feel so alone As many times as I blink I'll think of you tonight I'll think of you tonight Gokudera kept on training, working on his bomb attacks, just so he could vent out whenever he could. He smashed all the furnitures in his apartment, he caused a Sakura tree to explode into petals, and he caused Bianchi to douse his face with her Poisoned Pie. He tried to shake off the loneliness and tried to help Tsuna with school, or whatever, but his incomprehensible way of explaining, along with his unstable mind due to the matter of missing someone who became important, he didn’t really help much. He actually muttered “Damn woman for leaving” several times, unconsciously. He smoked much more, all because he missed her. His mind can’t get rid of every moment that he had with Sora. When violet eyes get brighter And heavy wings grow lighter I'll taste the sky and feel alive again The Guardians of the Seventh Fiammata Generation kidnapped Sora in her sleep, and dragged her to the airport in Italy. She kept on blaming her Guardians because she left a stack of paperwork on her desk, and she wasn’t done with them, but they didn’t listen and made her look outside the window when they were nearing Japan. She didn’t know what to do next. She was frozen, her body moving according to its own accord, her mind still empty and not responding. She was guided by her Guardians to their destination, because she took different paths that led to Namimori Middle School. She obviously missed this place, a lot. When she came to her senses (after hitting a pole), she fussed about her work. Her Guardians reassured her that her mother was taking care of it. She didn’t even know why Sora took over her work, because they were just sent there for a little matter that called for the Guardians and the Boss of Fiammata. And I'll forget the world that I knew But I swear I won't forget you Oh, if my voice could reach Back through the past I'd whisper in your ear Oh darling, I wish you were here Hayato loitered around Namimori, looking for something to distract his mind even further. He saw a flock of blond, messy hair, and he guessed that he was beginning to hallucinate. Even when the fellow Storm Guardian of Fiammata, Arashi, tapped him on his shoulder, he thought that even Arashi was a hallucination. He let the silver-haired maniac to the Namimori Shrine, where Sora was being pushed there, against her will. The two met, face to face, and Hayato was starting to consider that maybe, just maybe, Sora was already there, in Namimori. The girl looked at the silver-haired man in front of her, his cigarette hanging idly on his lips, and after her mind started to function again, she smiled, beamed, even, and tackled the man. He was surprised, and both fell to the floor, while the Guardians of Fiammata left them. Nari smiled at the two, and Sora began to loosen her choking hug upon Gokudera. “Jii-chuu~!” “So- Sora-teme? You’re back? Damn woman, get the hell of me!” The cigarette fell on the floor, losing its light as Gokudera scolded the girl for leaving without any notice. The girl smiled, giggled, and promised that she won't do it again. Gokudera blushed slightly, and with no knowledge of what he was doing, he planted a peck on the girl’s lips. The girl stared at him for a moment, her face turning red, and then she smiled again. “Jii-chuu, you taste like cigarette~!” LOL IDK what hit me. I was gonna use another Paramore song, but Owl City struck me. Vanilla Twilight~! Okay, so the songfic is about Sora and Hayato. Again. They're the easiest to work with. Okay, so Sora had to go back to Italy because of Famiglia matters, but it devastated her because she didn't know if she'll be permitted to come back to Namimori. So she didn't say goodbye to our prince. Both had problems with health and letting go, so the solution? Get Sora back to Nam-chuu~! I actually tried for a cuter kiss scene with them, but I didn't feel like it. Goku-baka wasn't the type for it. Yet :> Manga!Hayato is used. That's why he tastes like cigarette. Eh, enjoy the angst sprinkled with fluff and comedy at the end. So, hai. Maia, Le Cheshire Cat, marionette14, Schizophrenia, Midnight Rose, Sasori the Puppeteer. I write stuff, including songs. Feel free to poke me, just not at the eyes. I need those. I r always hungry, so watch out. I might bite you >3 I am artistic, but not inclined to painting. I sketch when I want to, resulting in my short attention span. I compose songs whenever I want to shout out my feelings but I can't. I'm already contented with my latest crush, because he's plainly gorgeous and charming and... I should stop. I'm a Taekwondoin, and I have medals to prove it. I hate it when my broadband goes "Local" on me. I love my Photoshop so much that I neglect GIMP now. Sorry, GIMP. I can sing pop, rock and even rap. Off-key when I have colds, off-key when I like it, but I don't do soprano, only up to mezzo soprano and alto. My senpai is Dei-senpai. They say I'm a good role player, but I still lack skill, or so I tell myself. I already claimed Gokudera Hayato, Hidan, Akasuna no Sasori, Uryuu Ishida, Syusuke Fuji, Death the Kid, Fye D. Flowright/ Fai D. Fluorite, Sebastian Michaelis, Recca Hanabishi, Wolfram von Beielefeld, Colonello, Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, and Kadaj. If you have any problems with that, I'll strike you with their arsenal. I created a Twilight character with a low Mary-Sue score, compared with Edward Cullen or Bella Swann. I'm a proud Team Jacob. He has an awesome eight-pack abs. I laugh in the 'Net with "LOLFu", "Nyufufufu" or "Nyahaha". I'm going to a Halloween party as a zombie. |
